  • Assist Supply Group to optimize their business strategies
  • Aggregate and compile lease and bulk contractual and transportation activity, which when added to commercial results, allows assessment of total business performance.
  • Analyst is responsible for ensuring source data is timely, accurate and complete, in order to track the granularity of all costs from the lease to the ultimate disposition of crude.
  • Assist and provide direction to crude oil scheduling, accounting, traders, crude trucking, property and contracts administration and region office personnel to accurately account for lease/bulk trade activity and associated economics.
  • Monitor market prices, identify and resolve problems, and work with contract administration to ensure contracts are entered correctly and properly coded.
  • Ensure that lease tickets are entered correctly depicting correct location, carrier, truck mileage and cost, pipeline tariffs, bulk contract costs and delivery points.
  • Investigate and resolve missing data elements necessary to drive economic analysis.
  • Update daily crude oil pricing worksheets and contract spreadsheets relied upon in the Marketing organization.
  • Responsible for loading and maintaining pipeline tariffs and updating crude trucking contract transportation rates for Laid-in Crude Cost.
  • Set up and record proper trades for respective markets on worksheets and to capture monthly values used in critical lease economics.
  • Proven analytical skills, high accuracy of data input and proficient computer applications.
  • Must have excellent organization, prioritization and time management skills, and must be deadline oriented.
  • Must be an inquisitive, self-motivated, enthusiastic outside-of-the box problem-solver and able to work independently without close supervision while maintaining a high degree of personal accountability.
  • Respond to customer inquiries pertaining to pricing, production, ticketing issues, etc.
  • Responsible for problem solving efforts around production, accounting, payment, or system setup issues
  • Monthly responsibilities include working with facility maintenance, allocations, production reports, contract reviews, run statement generation, pricing analysis and miscellaneous customer issues

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate's degree (accounting, finance, or business related) or additional related experience.
  • Crude oil analysis, crude trucking, contracts or scheduling experience is strongly preferred.
  • Self-starter who can work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities during high paced environment
  • Highly detailed and deadline oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
